Our approach

Plain information about outsourced admin support

Input Compared Office Help covers admin and data entry, customer email and chat, CRM and sales admin, and invoicing prep for US businesses.

What you will find here

  • Plain descriptions of four kinds of virtual assistant work
  • Notes on what you would provide, such as access, templates and a point of contact
  • Questions to ask before you agree to anything
  • A form that sends your request to a service partner

The service partner is the business that supplies the assistant, sets the price and signs the agreement with you. This site explains the work and routes requests. The partner is the one who does it.

How an engagement usually runs

  1. You send a request describing the tasks, tools and hours.
  2. A service partner replies, asks questions and sends a written proposal.
  3. Once you accept, you share access through delegation or a password manager and walk the assistant through each task.
  4. The assistant works from a written process, reports back on an agreed schedule and flags anything outside it.

Most arrangements start small and grow once you see how the work goes. You and the partner adjust hours and tasks as needed.

What we leave to others

The assistant work itself is done by a service partner. That partner decides who the assistant is, how they are paid and how cover works, and they are the party you contract with. This site is neither an employer nor a staffing agency.

Professional advice sits outside the service too. An assistant may prepare invoices in QuickBooks or Xero, sort receipts and match them against bank feeds for your accountant to check. They do not decide how an expense is treated for tax, how workers are classified or what your contracts should say. Those calls belong to you and your advisers.
